AICS is founded in 1912, AICS is the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions. We accredit professional, technical and occupational programs, and are one of two national accreditors recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

SWIU

is listed in the EDUCAUSE as an institutional member by Carnegie Classifications. The 2000 Carnegie Classification includes all colleges and universities in the United States that are degree-granting and accredited by an agency recognized by the U. S. Secretary of Education. The 2000 edition classifies institutions based on their degree-granting activities from 1995-96 through 1997-98.

SWIU was founded by the Jubilee Church of Christ (JCC) and
Dorcas International Group (DIG) in the year 1958, as a
multi-purpose technological and professional international
university to offer Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degree programs to
students who desire quality education. It has promoted the idea
that quality learning opportunities should be available to people in
a wide range of situations, that they should be able to freely choose
what they want to study.

Inter-school Alliance Promotion Director

In order to make our students more competitive, SWIU is currently in alliance with the University of California and California State University systems, guaranteeing that after graduating from SWIU, students will receive admission (I-20) to the following schools. In addition, SWIU and the University of California have a planned education program that allows high school graduates to come to the United States to study directly. The TOEFL score is only for reference and does not affect admission. After two years of advanced community college, they can directly enter UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) or UCI. (University of California, Irvine).
